Our approach
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical standard. In building this site we have worked to provide:
- Readable type sizes and strong text contrast
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
- Semantic headings, landmarks, and link text
- Keyboard-operable navigation, buttons, and forms
- Layouts that reflow on phones, tablets, and desktops
- Directions available as live website text as well as a downloadable PDF
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review the site as we update it and fix issues as we find them.
